Bristol City Council is proposing to deliver a second Cultural Investment Programme (CIP) in 2023 – 2027.
We want to ensure CIP 2023 – 2027 is fit for organisations/individuals and Bristol citizens alike, and helps achieve the Bristol City Council and the One City Plan vision and objectives.
The Arts and Events Team have set new aims and objectives for CIP 2023-2027, based on learnings and reflections from delivery to date. We want to hear your views to ensure these aims and objectives are fit for purpose and in tune with the cultural sector’s own aspirations. We are running three focus group events where we will explain these further and you can ask us questions and provide your input. Feedback from these events will be included in a public report that will help inform the final proposal considered by Bristol City Council’s Cabinet in December 2021.
We welcome input from all members of Bristol’s creative and cultural industries and are providing up to 10 bursaries per session of £50 to support freelance artists to attend. These will be awarded on a first come first served basis. Please email [email protected] to request a bursary.
Schedule: An overview of the session and Zoom link will be emailed to you the week before the session.
Access: Everyone is welcome to join in in the way that suits them. These will be a relaxed meetings designed to a comfortable pace.
