EVENT DESCRIPTION

Asian American Herbalism is a healing practice with insights on living in harmony with the natural world. Cultivating mind-spirit wellness within this framework is based within intentional seasonal living for greater ease and authenticity.

Join clinical herbalist, Erin Masako Wilkins, for an in-person workshop on traditional wisdom and current trends for cultivating mind-spirit wellness during the summer months. Erin guides participants in this nourishing experiential workshop combining Qigong guided meditation, storytelling, and practical ways to bring Asian healing practices and herbs into your daily life.

In this intimate and interactive workshop at The Center in San Francisco, participants are invited to begin by sipping summer-focused teas to ease into the workshop. During the workshop, Erin also guides participants in making their very own custom herbal tea blend to take home to support emotional equilibrium and restorative sleep, in addition to providing teachings on how to use herbs and mushrooms to make healing soups. Erin also demonstrates how to use moxibustion—a traditional heat therapy practice—at home for vitality and spirit.

This knowledge will be explored within a culturally sensitive framework for incorporating these practices into everyday life.

Erin invites you for an inspiring and intimate afternoon in good company at the Center SF. If weather permits, much of this gentle, and unique workshop will be on the beautiful Center SF patio.
