Join us at our Cultivating Connections event on Sat 15th November 2025, at the Westfield Hub, Yeovil, from 10-2:30pm.
Plans are taking shape, and we'll have some inspiring speakers and activities lined up, with a focus on projects in Yeovil and South Somerset. We hope it will be a chance to strengthen connections, with the theme of engaging - volunteers, service users, communities, as well as statutory & wider organisations.
You’ll hear from Joe Knights, speaking about the network of Yeovil's growing and green spaces and the work of the South Somerset Environment Forum, which connects projects, shares expertise and organises work parties, which includes the skilled scythers from Able2Achieve.
We’ll also have chop & chat and growing activities. We'll be giving you more details of the day as we confirm with contributors.
As always, we'll sit down for a seasonal soup and pud we'll have cooked up on the day using local food and food surplus, plus share our news.
The event is always a success because of what you make it, either by running a workshop, bringing produce, cake or flowers for the tables, as well as your help on the day with setting up, clearing down and washing up : )

NB It's a great venue but no car park, so you can drop off, but you will need to find parking in the local area.
