About this Event
In emotionally charged or vulnerable moments, the way we show up for others can make all the difference. This workshop explores the concept of Sympathetic Presence—the ability to offer calm, compassionate, and attentive support without trying to fix, rescue, or avoid discomfort. Through reflective exercises and practical techniques, participants will learn how to be fully present with others in their grief, pain, or uncertainty, while maintaining healthy boundaries. Ideal for caregivers, healthcare workers, educators, and anyone in a supportive role, this workshop builds confidence in creating safe emotional spaces where others feel seen, heard, and held.
This course will take place in WAVE Trauma Centre's Nevara House centre in Belfast and will run from 10.00am - 4.00pm.
