We have an array of thrilling experiences lined up to give you a taste of what's in store for the upcoming season. Be prepared to be dazzled by excerpts of Culpdid's mesmerizing performances, be moved by the captivating choreography of Chloe Crenshaw, and groove to the innovative sounds of composers sexdeathvoid with their live set.
But that's not all – this event is also your chance to enjoy an open bar throughout the evening! Sip on your favorite beverages as you learn more about our ambitious goals for the year ahead. With a target of $20,000, we aim to fund essential initiatives such as our upcoming 2-week residency, engaging Snapshots programming, the creation of a new work by our visionary artistic director Donterreo Culp, alongside captivating musical compositions by sexdeathvoid, a commission of a new work by the talented Chloe Crenshaw, artists' compensation to support the incredible talents behind our performances, and a thrilling two-night performance to close out the year.

Culpdid is a New York City based contemporary dance company led by artistic director Donterreo Culp, our company is dedicated to creation, research, and showcasing authentic and unguarded moments on stage. Ultimately striving to capture the candid essence of the human experience. We are deeply committed to collaboration, curiosity, innovation, and community. At the heart of our company is a belief that dance creates, provokes, and inspires an open space for dialogue towards an inclusive society. Through our performances, we aim to engage conversation and invite audiences to experience unique perspectives that challenge their perceptions of the world.
Chloe Crenshaw is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher from Los Angeles. She is currently based in New York, where she is a company artist with GALLIM Dance Company under Andrea Miller. Previously, Chloe danced with Ballet BC as an Emerging Artist under Medhi Walerski. She also holds a BFA in Dance from the California Institute of the Arts. Performance credits include work by Danielle Agami, Trisha Brown, Peter Chu, Andrea Miller, Crystal Pite, David Raymond and Tiffany Tregarthen, Spenser Theberge, and Medhi Walerski, among others. As a choreographer, Chloe was selected for the 2024 edition of Tanztendenz Open Studios residency in Munich. She recently premiered her latest work, “Fisheye,” at the Martha Graham Studio Theater for the Eryc Taylor Dance New Choreographer Grant concert. Chloe has also created work for Houston Contemporary 2.
