Culminating Celebration: City Artist Corps Bridging the Divide

We are proud to announce the completion of 50 art installations from our year-long, five-borough, public art exhibition at 16 NYCHA sites throughout New York City. The artworks, completed by 59 local artists, amplify the stories, cultures, talents, and histories of public housing residents. The program's final installation was completed in March at Manhattan's Baruch Houses. Join New York City Commissioner of Cultural Affairs Laurie Cumbo at Taft Houses for a celebration with artists and NYCHA residents.

The celebration will begin at 6pm with a walking tour of the murals created for Taft Houses. At 6:30pm we will gather in the gym of The Cooke School to meet the artists, share food, music, and more!
