About this Event
The Culinary and Bartenders Unions Legal Service Fund is hosting free classes and one-on-one consultations with attorneys throughout 2023. Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada staff will be sharing information on the topics below, followed by personal meetings with lawyers for those interested:
- March 16: Unemployment Compensation & Overpayments
- June 22: Simple Estate Planning & Powers of Attorney
- September 21: Immigration Renewals, Petitions & Naturalizations
- November 30: Criminal Record Sealing
All of these workshops will be held in John Wilhelm Hall at Culinary Workers Union Local 226, with an option to watch a prerecorded presentation.
In addition to these workshops, the Legal Service Fund also offers free clinics throughout the year about the services available to union members (followed by optional consultations with attorneys) at UNITE HERE Bartenders Local 165. Click here for details and registration.
