Need help with a legal matter? The Culinary and Bartenders Unions Legal Service Fund offers members free information, consultations, and sometimes even full representation from Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada attorneys for a variety of legal issues, including:
- IRS tip compliance
- Immigration
- Bankruptcy consultation
- Debt collection
- Consumer issues
- Family law information
- Tenant's rights and evictions
- Sealing criminal records
- Wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Lawyers from Legal Aid Center will be offering presentations about the services available, followed by one-on-one meetings for those interested, throughout 2023 at UNITE HERE Bartenders Local 165. These free legal clinics will be held at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on February 16, April 11, June 15, August 15, and October 12.
