About this Event
Cuentame - Tell Me
Join us for an unforgettable evening of storytelling and connection at El Barrio's Artspace PS109.
An interactive writing and storytelling workshop that is rooted in honoring our ancestry, identity, and imagination. This immersive masterclass will guide participants through creative writing prompts inspired by Nuyorican/Puerto Rican diasporic traditions, family sayings, food, memories, migration journeys, music, and myths. For the second portion we will focus on how to present stories through an open mic share, inviting voices to rise and ripple in a space of affirmation and joy in celebration of Latine Heritage Month.
Share your stories, listen to others, and immerse yourself in the power of words. Whether you're a seasoned storyteller or just love to listen, this event is for you.
Come be a part of our community and Cuentame - Tell Me together!
