About this Event
Join us at a private Cuddle Workshop where you can relax in a welcoming environment, give and receive touch, and feel connected to yourself and others. All genders and orientations - individuals, groups and couples - are WELCOME!
At this Rated G event, you will be invited to explore non-sexual, consensual, no-strings-attached, platonic touch as you are...
- Educated on the principles that create a safe container (including cuddle etiquette)
- Euided through exercises that help you relax and connect with your own body (where your authentic "Yes" and "No" are felt)
- Led to practice communicating boundaries and consent in facilitated paired practices (these exercises are your "training wheels")
There will also be demonstrations and descriptions of touch options as well as no-touch options. The highest guiding principle is that you honor your own authentic Yes and No which is why touch is NEVER required to participate in this event and you can leave at any time.
With all of that preparation under your belt, you will be given plenty of time to choose your own adventure in the voluntary free cuddle period - what we call the Cuddle Laboratory.
GUIDELINES
These guidelines are like the “etiquette of cuddling." We’ll go over all of them and answer any questions you have during the workshop. Here are some important ones:
- Keep attendance confidential (unless given permission).
- There’s no touch required (and you can change your mind at any time).
- Respect the boundaries of others (ideally with enthusiasm).
- Keep activities at a Rated G level and conversation at PG-13.
- Ask and Wait - if you want to touch someone, ask. Then wait for the answer.
We ask that you arrive...
- Sober - AND remain sober throughout the event. You may find yourself getting a natural high on oxytocin - often called the "hug hormone."
- Hygiene conscious - squeaky clean and minty fresh!
- Scent-free - including perfumes, body wash/spray, colognes, and cigarette smoke (Some of us have sensitive noses - thanks!)
- Healthy - if for any reason you feel "off" before or during the event, please let the facilitator know that you need to cancel or leave early in order to protect the health and safety of other attendees
- Supplied - **PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW** Other comfort items that could enhance your relaxation and coziness include a blanket, comforter, sleeping bag, your favorite plushie, and comfy clothes (you can always change in the restroom when you arrive). Soft, cozy pajamas, cotton t-shirts, sweatpants, leggings are all welcome. Tank tops and shorts are the minimum requirement for this event.
- Nourished - tea and cookies (including gluten free options) will be provided. Feel free to bring any other food items that you need to feel nourished as well as to share!
- Open - to having new experiences and connecting with new people in a warm, safe, huggable tribe
You may just leave this event feeling an increased sense of wellbeing and belonging, a boost in compassion and playfulness, blissed out, content, deeply relaxed and connected.

She is an LGBTQ+ activist and believes in the power of bringing people together in a safe environment to nourish soul, mind, and body.
