Our council has several day camps and resident camp, but the Twilight Camp is a great option for families of cub scouts that can't take the time off, or can not camp overnight, but still want to participate in summer camp style events and activities!
Information about this year's Twilight Camp:
Date of Twilight Camp: Monday June 24-28th
Theme: "Outdoor Adventure: The First Step!"
Location of Day Camp: Mishawaka Res 13950 Scout Ln, Mishawaka, IN 46544
Time: 5:30-8:30 PM each evening (gathering time begins at 5:15, three stations per evening, finished by 8:00 PM for pick up)
Cost: Early Bird: $55 (Until April 30th)/$65 (Until May 30th)/Late Registration: $75 (Until June 15th)
What events will be there?
There will be multiple sessions spread over the 5 evenings, plus the final firebowl on the Friday night of the camp. Planned session/stations include:
Target Sports (BB/Archery/Slingshot)
Nature
Crafts
Sports
Science
Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer positions include:
-Station Leaders who would like to manage a station of interest (suggestions for stations welcomed if there is something you are passionate about and want to show others!)
-Rangemasters for bb/archery/slingshot (training required, but provided by our council prior to camp)
-Walkers/Guides for helping camp groups move from session to session
-registration & check-in at the camp
-Health Officer (first aid training required)
-Scouts BSA are welcome to help as well, if they need service hours, or are interested in Summer Camp staff experience they can carry over to a full summer camp staff position in the future at Camp Tamarack!
Are there only certain days you can help with camp, but not every evening? We still would love your help!
Scouts BSA! You are welcome as well!
Scouts BSA Troops, we would also like to extend and invitation to you as well! If you have Scouts in need of service hours, or would like to meet with and engage cub scouts soon to crossover, please reach out! We would like to offer our camp as a place for Scouts BSA Troops to recruit for the upcoming fall through your participation! Contact us with any questions!
