St James' is delighted to continue Cub Sandwiches, a community initiative in collaboration with Eat Up Australia, dedicated to supporting the nutritional wellbeing of young learners facing hardship within our community.The core mission of Cub Sandwiches is to ensure that every child attending school has access to a nourishing meal. We have partnered with local primary schools to provide freshly prepared sandwiches, guaranteeing that these students have the opportunity to access a wholesome meal when needed. To make this vision a reality, we are organising sandwich-making workshops and are reaching out to our wonderful Orange Army community for assistance.
If you share our commitment to ensuring that no child goes hungry at school and you can spare just 60 minutes of your time to create sandwiches with us, we warmly invite you to participate in one of our upcoming community workshops. Tickets are available for $5.00 and all proceeds will be donated to not-for-profit organisation Eat Up Australia to help sustain their invaluable work.
During this workshop, our goal is to prepare an impressive 600 sandwiches, and we rely on YOUR participation to achieve this milestone. We will provide all the necessary supplies and ingredients for crafting these lunches. All we request is that you bring your radiant smiles and positive energy, making it a fulfilling and enjoyable session that brings about a meaningful change in our community.
