Atlanta's dystopian warriors return to Bucharest with their Soundsystem act, featuring Ryan and Lee performing works from Algiers, Nun Gun and Dead Meat.
These post-punk innovators have built one of the most exciting cult followings around. Their Soundsystem acts abandon traditional band performance for something more primal – pure energy channeled through speakers, connecting worlds and sounds in ways that'll leave you questioning everything. YEARS OF DENIAL [FR/CZ] [LIVE]
Taking the stage in the early hours of the night, this is the project of French musician Jerome Tcherneyan and Czech performance & music artist, lyricist, and singer-songwriter Barkosina Hanusova. Active since 2016, the duo has become known across the globe for their well-crafted sharp productions and electrifying live performances. Utilizing hardware and a plethora of dub devices combined with Barkosina’s unmistakable vocals, the pair revisit the dark corners of post-punk, goth, new beat, EBM, industrial, and rave culture.
Delivering a sound they call Suicide Disco, their live shows are combining a sense of mystery and artistry with heavy electronics, but having a lively party vibe.
