The CT Blues Society sponsors a First Sunday Blues Jam at The Pine Loft in Berlin CT through April. The CTBS All-Stars (River City Slim, Phil Caron and Joey Primo) are the house band with a different 'guitar star' joining the band each month. This month's jam is the finale of this year's series, and features Boston guitar ace Ricky 'King' Russell. Ricky has played with a Who's Who of Boston and Providence area Blues musicians, including The Knickerbocker All-Stars and many others. Musicians bring your instruments - amps, drums, keyboards and PA are provided. The Pine Loft is a full-service restaurant, so bring your appetite! They also have a variety of beers and wines! Music starts at 1:00 PM.
