The CT Blues Society kicks off a New Year of CTBS events with a First Sunday Blues Jam at The Pine Loft in Berlin CT. The CTBS All-Stars (River City Slim, Phil Caron and Joey Primo) are back as the house band with a different 'guitar star' joining the band each month. This month's jam features New England Music Hall of Fame guitarist Paul Gabriel. Paul is the recipient of a CTBS Lifetime Achievement Award, among his other accolades. Musicians bring your instruments - amps, drums, keyboards and PA are provided. The Pine Loft is a full-service restaurant, so bring your appetite! They also have a variety of beers and wines! Music starts at 1:00 PM.
