About this Event
CT Victims Against Violence Annual Holiday Event
Date: December 13, 2025
For Families with Youth Ages 0–17
Join us for the CT Victims Against Violence Annual Holiday Event, a special celebration dedicated to families and youth as we come together in community, hope, and healing. This event is designed to bring joy and connection to families impacted by or passionate about ending violence in our communities.
This year’s event is open to families with children ages 0–17. A parent or guardian must be present for all youth attendees. Registration is required, and no exceptions will be made. Families must print and bring their tickets to gain entry.
Founded in honor of Tyrek Maequez, who survived a tragic act of gun violence in 2008 at just seven years old, CT Victims Against Violence strives to raise awareness about the lasting impact of violence on victims, families, and communities. Tyrek’s story continues to inspire our mission to provide support, create awareness, and stand together against violence.
We invite families to celebrate the season, share in community, and honor the strength and resilience of those affected by violence.
