Welcome to The Afterparty! We are an improvisational comedy team performing in the coolest basement in Hartford, CT -the Sea Tea Comedy Theater- on a monthly basis.

Tuprov Shakur understand that naming their twoprov comedy duo after the late rapper/actor/poet Tupac Shakur could be confusing to some. We perform a monoscene, not a hip hop inspired musical form. We tell irreverent tales based on audience suggestions, not gripping stories of the racial, historical, and socioeconomic realities of the streets of Los Angeles that shaped Tupac's storytelling. While we are fans of the man, his work and hip hop in general, we chose the name for one primary reason: the twoprov/Tupac pun is strong. It makes people LOL. And that's what you can expect from every Tuprov Shakur show: Lots Of Laughs!

Blind Date is a group that first performed together at auditions to become a house team for the Sea Tea Comedy Theater in Hartford, CT. Since then, the group has become close friends performing monthly and being fun and freaky while continuing their journey to complete a perfect Harold.
