The Department of Music and Theatre at California State University, Bakersfield is pleased to present CSUB Jazz Ensembles in a concert celebrating the Blues. The BLUES is a central component of jazz in all its forms, so we are happy to present these pieces so wholly influenced by this style which is a building block of contemporary music.
