Auditions for the CSO Chorus 2024-2025 season are scheduled for Monday, August 25. From the joyous spirit of Home for the Holidays, to the powerful beauty of Handel's Messiah and Verdi's Requiem, this is a season you won't want to miss. Whether you're a seasoned singer or returning to the stage, we welcome you to share your voice and make music that moves hearts.
Auditions will be held in the Choir Suite of First Presbyterian Church, 554 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37402. Parking will be available behind the Connector Building, or across McCallie Avenue in the church's parking lot. Time slots in 10-minute intervals will be available from 6:00-9:00PM.
Please prepare 2 selections of contrasting styles (i.e., aria, art song, Broadway, anthem, etc.). One of the pieces in a foreign language is preferable, but not mandatory. Memorizing the music is not required. Please bring 2 copies of the music for Darrin Hassevoort, CSO Chorus Director, and the accompanist. An accompanist will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
