Welcome to the CSI's Inkwell in Person Writing Session!

Join Us for a Writing Session—Whether you're just starting your writing journey or you're an experienced writer, we welcome you to our supportive writing sessions.
Here’s what you can expect:
* Introductions – Share a bit about yourself: where you're from, how many works you’ve published, or how many projects you’re working on.
*Project Overview – Give a brief description of what you're working on (e.g., "I’m working on a mystery novel due out before Easter").
* Focused Writing – Dive into your writing project. We’ll write until about 15 to 20 minutes before the session ends.
* Progress Sharing – In the last 15 to 20 minutes, we’ll check in and share how much progress we made—whether it’s word count, pages, or illustrations.
NEW WRITERS: Please come and let's talk about where you are in your writing. Bring what you have, and we'll help guide you in your next direction.
What Are We Doing Each Session? This is your time to focus on whatever writing project you’re currently working on—whether it’s a novel, novella, poetry, screenplay, blog post, or even editing. There’s no pressure on what to write, just show up and create. If you’re working on illustrations, feel free to bring your drawing materials. This is not a critique session, so no need to share your work unless you want to.
What to Bring:
* Notebook or journal if you’re handwriting your project
* Pens, pencils, markers for handwritten projects
* Computer, tablet, or phone if you prefer digital writing
Where: We meet at Chick-Fil-A, 3890 Pelham Rd., Greenville, SC 29615
When: 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays and 2nd and 4th Thursdays
Cost: purchase your meal and beverage at Chick-Fil-A. Don't forget to get the app and then you can accumulate points and get free food and beverages.
