Race starts at 9am in the CSI Expo Parking Lot
Check-in and registration for same day participants will begin at 8:00am inside the Expo Center.
Kick off your Thanksgiving morning with some fresh air, fun, and a dash of adventure at CSI’s non-timed 5K Fun Run and Walk, hosted by the General Education Department and GNED 101 students! This exciting event is open to all ages and fitness levels, and it’s the perfect way to give thanks while supporting a great cause.
Every registered runner and walker will receive a custom CSI knit scarf and hat to help keep you warm and stylish. Don’t forget your four-legged friends—dog bandanas are available for our furry participants!
Keep your eyes peeled for four hidden frozen turkeys and four pumpkin pies scattered along the course. If you find one and carry it to the finish line, it’s yours to keep—just in time for your Thanksgiving feast!
All proceeds from this event will go towards building a brand-new outdoor experiential education classroom and needed supplies for the GNED 101 courses at CSI. With over 40 sections of GNED 101, this class touches the lives of countless students, and your participation helps ensure we can continue to offer engaging and enriching resources for our students.
