CSHS Convention 2024 update: The GM&O Historical society and B&O historical society are jointly doing a railroad convention in October 3-6, 2024 in St. Louis, Missouri. The CSHS and CSX historical societies have been cordially invited to join in on the fun.
I am waiting for further updates on speakers, clinics, a tour and a banquet at the end of the convention on Saturday evening. If you would like to make your reservations for the hotel at 3400 Ridder trail S. Earth City, Missouri Holiday Inn St. Louis airport. Their phone number is 314-291-6800 and there is a reservation code of BOR. The room will cost $134 +14.99% tax and that includes a breakfast buffet and you have 72 hours before the event to cancel for a full refund. It is urged that you make your room reservations as early as possible. As for the price of the convention, it is still being worked out, and I will have a total and registration forms here before long for CSHS Members. 
As I am reading from the email that was sent to me from my contact at the B&O Historical Society, as we get closer to the event, I will update you with more information and a flyer when final arrangements are made for all Chessie System historical Society members.
