About this Event
The EU F-Gas Regulation (EU) No 573/2024 significantly impacts available and future technologies. This short seminar aims to illuminate several pertinent and timely topics:
• The phase-down of F-Gases in refrigeration and air conditioning applications, including the substitution of HFCs with low-GWP refrigerants. Discussion of new synthetic and natural refrigerants, HFC and HFO blends, R32, CO2, ammonia, hydrocarbons, HFO-1234yf/ze/za, and secondary refrigerants.
• The certification of personnel and companies in the use of alternative and natural refrigerants for refrigeration and air conditioning on an international scale; the safe handling of flammable refrigerants.
• The advent of new technology in RAC components and systems. The development of new components, systems, and solutions aimed at reducing pollution and saving energy. Topics include renewable energies, energy efficiency, and eco-design.
