The CSCA is hosting an upcoming Community Seminar on Thursday, April 17th, at 7 PM. Central Saanich Lions Hall (6994 Central Saanich Road) called “Beware of Scams! Don’t Be The Next One.”The Visual presentation from the Central Saanich police aims to educate and protect people of all ages about current scams and frauds.
Cpl. Pat Bryant from the Central Saanich Police Service and Sunny Lalli from Keating Computers provide a Q&A opportunity after the talk.
Sunny has worked in tech for three decades, spanning roles at Future shop, Shaw Cable, and Sony of Canada. As well as being a senior tech in various jobs over the years. He has over 20 years of experience in computer repair and maintenance.
He launched his scam and fraud awareness campaign in November 2023. He invited Cpl. Pat Bryant from the CS Police to join him in creating a safer environment for the community by promoting seminars to help prevent current and future scams. He is also a big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
