If you've been following SLEEPY KITTY over their decade-plus career in Chicago, St. Louis and New York, then you might already know they've gone international: Paige Brubeck and Evan Sult have combined powers with Julien Heggart and Pablo Saguez to make a new Paris-based band called The Tommy Crystal. Heggart's '60s-flecked guitar shines through Brubeck's roiling '90s-centric alt-rock gems for harmony-heavy compositions that range from bare acoustic beauty to roaring double-time blasters.
Paige and Evan are back in NYC with the new band and new songs— especially fitting because so many of the lyrics are directly inspired by life in the greatest city on Earth. After some big shows in Paris and Brussels, this is The Tommy Crystal's debut show in the US, and it is not to be missed!

Joining them is Movie Movie, who concentrate classic bangers from the 20th century into songs that unspool like cinematic soundtracks. With members of Twin Guns, The Electric Mess and The Above, the harmonies are tight and the arrangements are studies in power-pop pleasure seeking.
