Samhain is on 7th November and marks the last of the four cross-quarter days, standing at the midpoint between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice—a threshold into the dark half of the year. For many, Samhain isn’t just a day, but a passage into a time of deep transformation.
Throughout history, ancient monuments and stone circles have preserved intricate astronomical functions. Their alignments capture the dance of stars, the sun, and the moon at key turning points in the wheel of the year, serving as timeless markers of celestial cycles.
The Cailleach is the Goddess of winter, her presence woven into the very breath of the season. Her voice whispers through the wind that sweeps across rugged mountain crags, and it trembles faintly in the first crystals of frost forming in the most untamed and desolate places. In these stripped and barren landscapes, her words resonate with a haunting clarity.
Yet, her voice is not one of sorrow or lament. It carries a poignant stillness, inviting us to reflect and delve deeper within. The Cailleach embodies the archetype of the inner self, the keeper of ancient truths, revealing all we have gathered and become. She stands before us as a mirror, showing the stark beauty and raw honesty of our journey, and urging us to face what lies within.
The Cailleach beckons us to ready ourselves for the coming spring, urging us to envision the life we wish to cultivate and the harvest we hope to reap in the year ahead. She calls us to look inward, to shape our intentions now, so that as the earth awakens, we too will be prepared to sow the seeds of our deepest desires and nurture them into fruition. In her winter's embrace, she offers the time and space to prepare for the growth yet to come, reminding us that what we tend to in this quiet season will shape the abundance of the next.

Cacao is a beautiful bean that is used to make the rich and heart opening drink of cacao. Join me whilst we sit in ceremony and open our hearts to her. Allow the aroma and the warmth of her rich tones to find space within you. Reflect on the year so far. Share with her your gratitude for your own personal harvest.

We will use oracle cards to delve a little deeper and meditate to bring in peace and balance. Just as the leaves on the trees are turning colour its a time to reflect on what things we wish to release.

We will finish with a crystal bowl sound bath to wrap you in a cocoon of sound and healing. Releasing any di ease and returning you to harmony.
