[For English, please scroll down]JWD ART SPACE ขอเชิญท่านเข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดนิทรรศการ Crypto for Cryptids ในวันที่ 26 พฤศจิกายน 2564 ตั้งแต่เวลาระหว่าง 18.00-21.00 น. นิทรรศการจัดแสดงระหว่าง 26 พฤศจิกายน 2564 – 27 มีนาคม 2565 ตั้งแต่เวลา 10.00 – 19.00 น.
ความเชื่อก็เหมือนกับทุน ทั้งสองต่างไหลเวียนเพื่อเสกการมีอยู่ (จริง) ของทุกสรรพสิ่ง เรื่องแต่งกลายเป็นข้อเท็จจริงและความจริงก็กลายเป็นตำนานเมื่อความเชื่อขับเคลื่อนประวัติศาสตร์และกุมบังเหียนการเล่าเรื่องเหล่านั้น จากเปลือกหอยสู่ขนนก จากหินแร่มันวาวสู่เครดิตดิจิทัล สายธารแห่งมูลค่าเปลี่ยนผ่านจากมือสู่มือไม่ต่างจากเรื่องราวที่กระซิบข้างหูจากปากสู่ปากในตลาดสด ด้วยความเชื่อที่ถูกปลูกถูกฝัง ความศรัทธาในเงินตรากลายเป็นความชอบธรรม และการแลกเปลี่ยนค้าขายจึงกลายเป็นตรรกะที่หล่อลื่นฟันเฟืองการเดินทางของเงินตราไปโดยปริยาย จะตำนานหรือเงินตราต่างมีชีวิตด้วยข้อเขียนและสิ่งที่มันเอื้อนเอ่ย แต่กระนั้นก็ไม่ได้มีสิ่งใดที่มั่นคงไปกว่ากัน
เรื่องแต่งจึงเป็นทั้งกระบวนการในการแง้มมองและคลำทางประวัติศาสตร์ และในขณะเดียวกันก็เป็นสื่อกลางที่จารึกตัวประวัติศาสตร์นั้นเอง ความแต่งและความจริงสะท้อนและดูดกลืนกันและกัน เรื่องราวถูกระลึกตามร่องรอยเหมือนบล็อคเชนที่เรียงตัวต่อกัน ทุกการแลกเปลี่ยนต่อหางความยาวของโซ่แห่งเงินตรา แตกกิ่งเรื่องราวไปตามทางไม่รู้จบ

You are invited to the opening reception of the exhibition “Crypto for Cryptids” on November 26, 2021 from 6 pm–9 pm at JWD Art Space. The exhibition will be shown from November 26, 2021 – March 27, 2022. From 10 am – 7 pm
Faith like capital is the flow which drives beings into existence. It transmutes fictions into facts and transforms truths into myths, a propellant of histories and the frames of our narratives of them. From seashells and bird feathers, to shiny rocks and digitized credit, the vessels of values change hands like stories at the village market. Faith instills trust in currencies to legitimize and in turn the logic of exchange and trade are the cogs to perpetuate its journey. Texts and their utterance breathe life into myths and money, none more stable than the other.
Fiction then is at once a method to probe history as well as the very medium of its inscription. Feeding on each other, a recollection of a tale traces like blockchain to another, with each trade forking fictions on the go.
