ABOUT THE TRAINER
Joyce has excelled in various different industries including professional sports, telecommunications, energy and distribution. Her talent, passion and ambition has earned her leadership roles and recognition as top sales professional for global organizations.
Over the years, Joyce has excelled as a corporate sales leader as well as entrepreneur. She later transitioned from mainstream corporate to full-time entrepreneur as owner of IOWNPR. Her clients included the National Basketball Retired Players Association’s Miami Chapter, Harris County Flood Control District, Space Center Houston and other notable brands.
Making the transition from mainstream corporate to entrepreneur was challenging but even more rewarding when Joyce founded “Why Sales Network”. Her mission, “to empower the next generation of business leaders.” The company offers elite training programs and other resources to support personal and professional development of sales professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners.
Joyce’s passion and dedication to mentor and develop students into leaders resulted in her publishing several books to utilize as guides and tools for career success. Her books; Why Sales for College Students; Top 10 Sales Tips for College Grads; Get A Job Today – 5 Things You Need to Know are just a few titles from her series that she often utilizes when she is conducting coaching and training sessions with students and professional sales staff. Her most recent training workshop “How to Win in Sales” is a one-day intensive training focused on closing sales. In addition to coaching and training, Joyce also hosts a podcast called “Let’s Talk About It #collegelife.”
