Phil Maguire is a folk and blues musician from South East London that has been touring their unique blend of contemporary and traditional folk music for over 10 years. A life of gigging on the road birthed a couple of singles that were followed by the EP ‘The Church Bell’ in early 2022. 2023 then saw the release of his debut album ‘Valley Of My Dreams’. A contemporary folk record steeped in the tradition that has been picked up by a number of radio stations in the UK. This decade, Phil has been regularly performing a number shows every week across London and the UK. He went out on tour in April 2024 performing across Southern England from Kent to Devon. That summer saw Phil performing two shows at Green Man Festival and gigging in Hertfordshire, Sussex, Wiltshire & Hampshire.2025 saw Phil’s second album released into the world. This record has more of a blues and country influence that is a departure from the sound of his debut album.
We will have floor spots from 7.45 before the main act, so get down early if you want to play.
