This is perfect for making quilts with a theme, a perfect way to use up fat quarters, and a very fun and easy way to make quilts you will love for yourself or as a gift. Suitable and fun for beginners and experts.
Nancy Chong is best known as a hand applique teacher, but this quilt is one of her favorites for a fast and FUN machine-pieced quilt! She has developed an easy way to make these blocks--you won't believe how easy and fast it is!
Start off with a theme fabric or idea (red/white/blue, or butterflies, or polka dots, or holiday, or roses, etc.). You know what you want or what fabrics you have collected through the years. This is the time to use them!
In this busy one-day class, Nancy will discuss fabric choices, have you cut your fabric, and begin to sew it together. Before you go home, you will understand how to complete all the blocks and put them together, along with a border, for a fun and relatively quick pieced quilt.
Please bring a sack lunch.
