Parents/Carers,Our Year 6's will be visiting Crucial Crew in Hellaby, Rotherham on Thursday 28th November 2024.
Crucial Crew is an interactive, engaging, but also fun, personal safety educational provision managed by South Yorkshire Police, but delivered in collaboration with South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership. Our year 6 children will be taking part in eight different scenarios during the day to learn how to keep themselves safe whether in the home or outside and the consequences of committing crime.
The children will be travelling to the Lifewise Centre in Rotherham, via coach. The coach will be leaving at 8.45am and the children will return to school ready for collection at the normal end of the day time.
Your child will need to wear school uniform, bring a waterproof coat, a water bottle and a packed lunch from home - those on free school meals will be ordered a packed lunch from school.
Please make your contribution payment of £12 via Arbor, under trips. The deadline for payment is Monday 25th November 2024.
All our trips are an additional element to the curriculum events that occur in Oakwell Rise. We are unable to charge more than the trip costs and only charge a % of the actual cost to parents/carers. Trips are limited to minimise costs to parents/carers.
