About this Event

Crownridge - City Nature Challenge - ID Walk
Join David Goree, Education Coordinator, for a walk in the park! David will begin by introducing the City Nature Challenge taking place this weekend and show participants the basics on using the documentation and identification application, iNaturalist! Then the group will head out onto the trails to capture and identify as many species as possible!
What is the City Nature Challenge? Join the Texas Master Naturalists, San Antonio Natural Areas, Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy, Texas Parks Wildlife Dept and many others in a fun challenge this weekend, April 26-29 to see which city can document the most plant and animal species. It's easy to participate by joining an event or making observations on your own using iNaturalist! To find out more about CNC 2024 and how to download iNaturalist and visit: CNC-SA.org.
· Park in the parking lot by the restrooms. Meet at the pavilion.
