Crowned by the Roots: Power of Hairitage Artist Talk
Join us in person for Crowned by the Roots: Power of Hairitage Artist Talk! Curated by KELA, Crowned by the Roots showcases a collection of African American creations exploring the connection to self through hair. It acknowledges the unique journeys carried, including experiences of loss. Honoring the heritage of hair reflects intentional choices, with a cultural emphasis on lineage through community, leadership, legacy, and royalty.
