The Vacaville Museum is proud to announce the opening of the first exhibit in our Community Gallery. This space is dedicated to Solano artists and communities who want to share their stories, ideas, and creativity in a smaller, more personal setting. With rotating exhibits, the Community Gallery offers a continually evolving platform for diverse voices and community conversations.February's inaugural community exhibit features Carla Lawson, a Vacaville artist, that explores the vibrant tapestry that is African and African American culture. Crowned: Ancestral Forms is to honor February as Black History Month, drawing inspiration from the boundless reservoir of Carla's heritage. The exhibit will open on Friday, February 6 and an opening reception will be held on Thursday, February 5 at 5:30pm. The exhibit will run through Saturday, March 7, 2026.
