Album Artwork 2021---
This artwork has been waiting to see the light of day since 2019, one of many delayed by the pandemic. I am very glad to finally reveal it to everyone as this is one of my favorite projects to have worked on. Crown Magnetar was an absolute pleasure working with, keeping me updated throughout the pandemic and always being excited about whatever I propose to them.
This concept came about from an old oil portrait I saw of a scholar standing at a table holding a book. I remember thinking, "I wonder what a portrait of a demon scholar in hell would look like?" The end result of this thought process is the work you see for "The Codex of Flesh." I wanted to depict the demon in all its infernal glory, surrounded by locusts and spears, decked out in its finest vestments and clutching it's life's work "The Codex" to its chest.
Updated logo design and sigil done by me as well.
"The Codex of Flesh" will be out April 5th.
