Crown Chakra Balancing SOUND HEALING Journey

In a nutshell: This is a unique sound healing session, the last of 7 Sunday sessions in which we will work with balancing the energy of the 7 chakras. Each session will have its own "flavor" with a special focus on a particular chakra, while all of them will aim to revitalize your whole being. You can come to one or some or all of them.

Crown Chakra: This is our center for accessing higher consciousness, which helps us get in touch with the divine or higher power/universal life force energy and to open to what is beyond our personal preoccupations and visions. We will nourish this chakra with vibrational energy and clear out any "stuckness" so that we may live with greater connection and higher purpose.

A few things to know: 1) It'll be a small group, under 12, so you'll reap the benefits of a more individualized approach.

2) I will incorporate intention setting, poetic verse and guided visualizations, vocal toning (which you can join in if you want) aligning with the selected chakra and a personalized approach respectful of each person's needs.

3) After each session, I will give you free, specially designed download to support your continued well-being and work with the chakras. These are a fusion of my singing bowls, vocal toning and poetic affirmations. Plus, I have created a visual for you to guide your practice.

4) For those who want to come to multiple weeks: no two experiences will be alike. Attending multiple sound healing sessions can produce wonderful, restorative effects.

About Sound Journeys: Sound journeys (also called sound baths) offer us a "sonic massage" for our bodies, minds and spirits with sounds and vibrations that bring us into a deep state of relaxation and literally change us on a cellular level. It can help our noisy "monkey minds" get quiet as we shift to a Alpha and Theta brainwave states from our usual beta brains of busyness. Some find that it relieves pain, clears energy blockages, helps with sleep, or restores energy. You may find it drop you into a meditative state, allowing you to experience a "journey" of sound, images, and new awarenesses. It can be a fabulous "reset," and you will leave deeply relaxed and perhaps energized at the same time. For some, it really helps with insomnia, anxiety, and tension, to name a few.

What to expect: Plan on relaxing in a way that ordinary life can make it hard to do. Come without expectations of yourself or others and bring an open mind and heart. We will set our personal intentions, be guided through a visual meditation and enjoy a journey with sounds from a multitude of instruments and vocal intoning, along with affirmations relating to our energy centers.

A 32" Paiste planetary gong, a wind gong, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, crystal harp, chimes, Ocean Drum, rainstick, Peruvian seed rattle, monochord and more will be used during this sound meditation experience to bathe you in beautiful resonance!

Need to know: Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time so that you can prepare for the experience, and silence your phone before entering. Understand that late arrivals will not be admitted once the sound bath has begun, out of respect for the group's experience. If you see a Do Not Disturb sign on the door, please do NOT knock. Sorry, no refunds for no shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the event. If you need to cancel, you are welcome to find someone else who can use your ticket.

Bring a yoga mat, blanket and cushion/pillow for your comfort. (I will have a few extras if you forget.) Most people lie down on a mat, but you are welcome to sit and if you need to bring a zero gravity chair, you are welcome to do so. You may also want to bring an eye pillow to block out the sunlight. Let me know if you need any accommodations so that you may be comfortable. Please do not wear any perfume or cologne to these sessions.
