Anita, Lost in News
On October 27th, 2020 an inflatable boat leaves the coast of Dunkirk, France, to take 19 illegal immigrants to England, but it is capsized after a few minutes. Seven migrants drowned in the English Channel, five belonged to a Kurdish-Iranian family who had gone on this difficult journey dreaming of a better life. This is an anima-documentary based on a true story.
The Address
Edip is appointed to his hometown as a teacher just after graduated from university. When he goes to the government office to start work, he learns that the village he was assigned to is not in the records. He could not tolerate the slowness of the bureaucracy any longer because schools are about to open. He starts to search for Yeşilköy himself, which cannot be found in any of the official records, in the region he knows like the back of his hand. Edip, who is looking for Yeşilköy in Diyarbakır, will find himself in one of Turkey's biggest political problems.
Footprints of Ants
In a tent camp where asylum seekers and local agricultural workers stay together, the anger of the local workers against the refugees increases with poverty. Two children, Barış and Evin, who are unaware of this anger, disappear one day. Local and refugee workers in the tents go out to find for the children. During the search, local and refugee workers feel common feelings for a while. The search for children turns into a search for human values along the way.
The Crossing
Poignant documentary about the tragic capsizing of a dinghy of asylum seekers. It was the worst maritime disaster in the English Channel for 30 years, but what really happened?
