The visit of the Cross of Gratitude to St. Ann Byzantine Catholic parish has been extended through Sunday, September 14, 2025. The Cross will be available for viewing, prayer and veneration from 8 am to 7 pm daily in the church at 5408 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, Pa. Special services will be held at 6 pm Mondays through Saturdays.The Cross of Gratitude is a large wooden cross 20 feet high and 800 pounds carved by Vataliy Sobolivskyy from Ukraine, when he felt the Lord tell him to bring my cross to all the capital cities of the world in 2003. The cross and his mission has been Blessed by Saint John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis. It was created as a symbol of thanksgiving for the freedom of faith. It has traveled through numerous countries as a sign of unity, faith, and peace. The cross will travel the world to raise awareness of God’s Love and the upcoming 2000th Anniversary of the Passion, Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Lord. More at https://www.stannbyz.org/
