Crop Swap at Lopez Urban Farm

Join us at Lopez Urban Farm for our first Crop Swap! This event is designed to bring the community together to share home-grown produce and reduce food waste. Bring any extra fruits or vegetables you’ve grown and swap them with your neighbors in this fun and engaging community event.

While we encourage everyone to bring home-grown produce, all are welcome to join regardless of whether you bring items to share. As a special thank you, participants who bring produce will receive exciting kitchen and garden giveaways and be entered into a raffle to win a gardening tool set!

In addition to the crop swap, enjoy a relaxing outdoor yoga session to connect with nature or wander around the farm. Donated produce will also be available so no one leaves empty-handed.

Community organization Cosmic Labyrinth will create a living labyrinth at the farm, and you’re invited to explore it and participate in additional activities!

Timeline:

• 9:30 - 9:45 AM: Check-in
• 9:45 - 10:15 AM: Farm Tour
• 10:15 AM: Crop Swap Begins
• 11:00 AM: Outdoor Yoga Session (or explore the farm)
• 11:30 AM: Raffle
• 11:50 AM: Produce Boxes Giveaway
• Noon: Event End

What to Bring:

• Extra fruit or vegetables you’ve grown
• Reusable bags for produce
• Yoga mat (if you plan to join yoga, limited mats are available on a first-come, first-served basis)

• Parking: Lopez Urban Farm Parking Lot on Mission Blvd.

Safety Protocols:

• All children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Strict safety protocols will be followed for everyone’s comfort.
• The event will be conducted outdoors.
• If you are feeling sick or unwell, please stay home.
