Kate Canova started playing guitar as a teenager in an all-female punk band. At 20 she began singing with the professor Giuseppe “Joe” Zito and founded an alternative rock band, Flowers et Chains, with which she recorded an EP, Worth, in 2015. She later began solo traveling in Europe and the band split up. Kate performed with various bands, offering a repertoire of covers in Italian, English, and French. In 2023-24, she played with the band 2 Late O’Clock, with Beppe Bollani, incorporating electronic beats into their acoustic set. 2 Late O’Clock performed several dates in Lombardy.
Currently Kate is traveling in Australia and she performs a solo repertoire alternating well-known songs with niche gems, with a warm and captivating style.
