Eleven o’clock on Saturday, 18 May 2024 marks another simultaneous opening of two exhibitions at the Association of Arts Pretoria. On display will be Cronjé Lemmer’s favourite and most popular collagraphs of the past 27 years as well as Hendrien Horn’s 3D printed pottery.As fashion designer and artist Cronjé Lemmer learned early on to spot the exceptional in the ordinary. He has made a name for himself both locally and internationally as collagrapher. This art form is a printmaking process in which materials are glued or sealed to a rigid substrate (such as paperboard or wood) to create a plate. The exhibition clearly illustrates his growth as artist and human being.
Furthermore, on Saturday 25 May 2024 at 11:00 in the same venue his book Uit ‘Die Huis van Cronjé Lemmer’: ‘n collage van kuns, klere en kletspraatjies will be launched.
The exhibition runs until Saturday 8 June 2024.
