Crochet Workshop: Introduction to Granny Squares

Want to hop on the granny square trend and create boho bags, retro sweaters, and Swiftie-inspired swag? This is the workshop for you! In this two hour workshop, you’ll:

• Learn a variety of crochet stitches from treble crochet to bean stitch
• Understand how to start, construct, and finish your granny square
• Explore options to sew your granny squares together so you can tackle any project you want!

This class is for you if you already know basic crochet stitches and want to elevate your craft. We’ll start with a magic loop, and use hdc, double, treble, and seed stitches to create your granny square.

What do I need to bring?

Bring your own supplies to this class! You’ll need your favorite crochet hook and 3-4 colors of yarn in any weight (worsted or dk recommended). Or, purchase a prepared kit from us onsite.

Make At Rosie is BYOB so also bring any snacks or beverages you want to enjoy while you hook!

Who is this class for?

This class is for anyone with basic crochet stitches, but 13+ is encouraged.
