Come on down to The Free Black Women's Library for two Sunday community crochet sessions. This space is for both beginners and experienced crafters who work in the fiber mediums of crochet, knitting, weaving, sewing and embroidery.
We have hooks and yarn available for folks to use and practice with, but if you are interested in making a beanie specifically, we recommend bringing a hook and skein of yarn to work with towards creating a completed project.
Suggestions for Beanie:
Standard size 4 yarn, and a hook any size between 4-6mm.
Aluminum Susan Bates hooks and Red Heart Yarn .
