Description: Grow your crochet skills by making this
super cute fall pumpkin! Perfect for those who have
mastered the basic stitches, pumpkins are super easy
to construct.
Tools and Supplies:
Yarn - any worsted weight yarn, approx. 55 yards total
Hook – 5.0mm
Notions –tapestry needle, stuffing, scissors, stitch markers, stick, cinnamon stick or dowl for the stem.
All tools and supplies are available at Casting On for an additional cost.
Pattern: Romelyn Pumpkin by Sarah Korth can be purchased and downloaded from Ravelry or purchased and printed at Casting On
What you need to know: How to chain, work single crochet, and double crochet. You must be able to read your stitches and have mastered keeping an even tension.
What you’ll learn: How to read a pattern, how to work a linked double crochet, how to adjust the pattern to a different yarn weight and different sized pumpkins, and how to construct an adorable pumpkin!
