*Private Lessons with Amber Buhidar are for ages 9 and up!
In this Private Lesson, Amber will teach you how to hold a crochet hook, proper tension, and beginner crochet techniques such as chaining, single crochet, and turning work. During your lesson, you’ll learn several of Amber’s "crochet secrets" to make crochet simple and easy for any artist!
Private Lessons with Amber are perfect for anyone looking for one on one help with an experienced crochet artist. If you have any experience and want to freshen up your skill or want advice on a project you are working on, bring it! If you have the basics down and want the instructor to teach a specific stitch, let her know. Bring your own yarn and hook, a coffee or tea, and let's crochet together! The instructor will have hooks and yarn available to use while you are in the class, but she encourages you to bring your own so you can continue to crochet at home.
ARTIST BIO:
Amber is a self-taught fiber artist. She has been crocheting for the past 8 years. She started with blankets and progressed to beanies and ear warmers, and now her happy place is her signature plushies. She sells online and also at local markets. Amber is a home-school mama of four, and, if she is not crocheting, she enjoys the beach with her husband and children.
