
About this Event
Are you an absolute beginner who has never picked up a crochet hook? Are you a knitter who "just can't get crochet"? Do you want to learn all the essentials to make fabulous crochet garments and accessories?
This class is specifically designed for YOU!
Learn all the crochet basics by making traditional crochet granny squares, including slip knot, chaining, double crochet, slip stitch, working in the round and reading a crochet pattern.
All yarn and materials will be provided as well as complimentary afternoon tea.

Teacher Bio:
Maria McBride is a former IT Data Geek and now a fulltime Fibre Arts Nerd. She was taught how to knit by her grandfather when whe was 8yo but it wasn't until she learned how to crochet 13 years ago that she really got hooked on yarn! With a background in corporate training, she has been professionally teaching knitting and crochet classes for 10 years and has published patterns in national print magazines and self-published on Ravelry.com.
Maria is passionate about introducing people to the world of knitting and crochet and helping them along their fibre arts journey. She is known as 'Moonlighting Makes' on Instagram, Facebook and Ravelry.
