About this Event
This workshop is great for anyone limited to no experience with crochet! Participants will learn how to hold a crochet hook properly, how to do a chain and single crochet stitch, and how to work “in the round” and create new rows. Participants will go home with either a washcloth or small jewelry bowl, plus the confidence to learn new crochet stitch styles!
No prior skills are required, but participants may wish to learn how to tie a slip knot prior to the workshop. Watch this video tutorial to learn how!
This workshop is appropriate for ages 18+ only.

About the Instructor
Averee has been crocheting since 2012. She enjoys working to the soothing sounds of Battlestar Galactica and Lord of the Rings, and has a dog and two cats who add their fur to her work. Averee has an Etsy store for her art, blankets, and toys; and also sells at the Santa Fe Renaissance Festival every September. In her free time, Averee is working on a YouTube channel where she can teach crochet to those like herself who struggle with longer, to-in-depth videos.
