Learn the basics of crochet, starting from the very beginning—even if you’ve never held a hook before or don’t know a slip knot from a single crochet. Crochet is a simple and versatile craft to learn because just a few stitches can be used to make countless creative projects.In this 3-week beginner-friendly class for ages 13+, we’ll guide you step-by-step through the most common beginner stitches—slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet—using US terms. Along the way, you’ll complete two fun, functional projects: a cute fringed bookmark and a plush pumpkin perfect for fall.
Classes are approximately 2 hours long. We suggest arriving 5 minutes early to check in and get the seat of your choice. All materials are provided, including a crochet hook to take home so you can keep practicing your new skills.
This class is for ages 13+.
Each ticket includes one complimentary beverage from our Cafe (wine, beer and cider available for those 21+ with valid ID).
