About this Event
In this friendly workshop we will walk through the stitches and pattern to crochet your own mini scottie dog.
These little pups are made in the crochet style: ragdoll. Once you're familiar with this style, you'll be able to follow hundreds of other patterns! It's a simple style using only a couple of common crochet stitches - so a lovely skill for beginners and experienced crocheters to learn.
This workshop is designed to be accessible for beginners, so don't worry if you've never picked up a hook before! We walk through each and every stitch and step.
Crocheting is an incredibly mindful and relaxing craft and, when you become proficient with the stitches, you will find that you can bring your crocheting out anytime you have a spare 5 minutes to relax.
For the workshop, all materials are provided, however if you'd like to bring your own, you will need:
- Aran weight yarn in: your preferred 'dog' colour plus a border colour
- Size 5 mm hook
- Scissors
- Thin tartan ribbon
- A small amount of stuffing (optional)
This workshop takes place at Santosa in Edinburgh, and included in your ticket price are materials, a drink and a cake.
