About this Event
Something spooky is coming this Halloween! Not these guys though - they're too cute.
In this relaxed workshop you will learn some beginner friendly amigurumi skills to make adorably scary ghosts and cauldrons to decorate your home this Halloween. We will all start with the same project together, and then work at our own pace. Beginners may prefer to focus on one project, and experienced crocheters may want to try both of them!
Amigurumi is the crochet technique for making toys, and is a wonderful skill to have! We will cover some of the basics in this workshop that will give you the confidence to seek out more beautiful patterns and projects to make.
This workshop is designed to be accessible for beginners, so don't worry if you've never picked up a hook before!
Crocheting is an incredibly mindful and relaxing craft and, when you become proficient with the stitches, you will find that you can bring your crocheting out anytime you have a spare 5 minutes to relax.
This workshop takes place at Santosa in Edinburgh, and the ticket price includes all materials and a hot drink and cake.
See you there!
